Summary of Responsibilities

Assist with the technical support and maintenance for all branches and divisional offices within the Food Lovers group of companies
First, second and third level support, maintenance and troubleshooting for hardware, software, peripherals, and related devices
Adhere to support procedures and processes
Communicate any exposed and critical issues
Ensuring that all relevant calls are logged and attended to within the predefined SLA
Assist with the on-site support and coordination of new Food Lovers and/or Freshstop branches
Run and build various small projects
Build and maintain good working relations with user and team base

Minimum Qualifications/Experience Needed

Previous involvement and knowledge of retail environment will be beneficial
Minimum of 2 years prior experience in support environment essential
2-3 Years desktop experience on:
o Hardware Desktops, laptops and peripherals
o Software Windows XP/7/10, MS Office, Anti-Virus, remote support applications
o Connectivity good understanding of network switches, general cabling, routers, VPNs, ISPs, wireless technologies
Thorough understanding of a Service/Support Desk where the following applies:
o Call management logging, escalation, reassigning and closing procedures
o Adhere to current SLA agreements and timeframes

Person Spec

Own reliable transport
Energetic & enthusiastic
Must require minimum supervision
Able to work in open plan office environment
Must be willing to travel within SA and Africa for store-opening events
Good communication skills
Must have personality and willingness to communicate frequently with the IT department
staff, co-workers and franchisees
